FIVE O'CLOCK GERRY - lay in and dislodged a track marker near the 1350m. Trotted roughly early in the run home after contacting the sulky wheel of ULTIMATE MOMENT. Junior Driver C Hackett (assisted by T Herlihy) was issued a warning in relation to this incident. In considering the matter Stewards took into account that there were no consequential effects as the sulky tyre had not been punctured.

CON GRAZIA LOVE - when questioned regarding the performance Driver M McKendry could offer no explanation for the disappointing run. Trainer S McCaffrey was also at a loss to explain the lack lustre effort. Stewards will follow up with Mr McCaffrey in the coming days.

CON GRAZIA LOVE - contacted the wheel of SPRINGBANK MASON near the 350m when both runners shifted ground resulting in the mare losing momentum. After viewing the replays Stewards were satisfied that no one driver was at fault. Hung outwards leaving the final bend.

SACRED MOUNTAIN - commenced to shift down to trail the leader near the 1250m but was then corrected back up the track after AMERICAN MUSCLE improved forward to hold the leader's back. Broke shortly afterwards hampering horses in the running line and lost ground before settling at the rear.
